Job Description

As our next Night Team Leader, you…

  • Are the ‘face of' The Ibis London Canning Town, extending a warm welcome to our guests during the night, putting their well-being at the heart of everything you do, while adding your personal touch to their stay.
  • Provide guidance and support to the team, supervising hotel operations during the night.
  • Assist in the general running of the hotel at night and support other departments to set up for the next day.
  • Undertake night audits and corridor checks to make sure everyone in the hotel is safe and looked after.
  • Are an autonomous and passionate individual, confident in all aspects of guest relations, receiving and recognizing all guests including those who require special attention.
  • Maintain strong working relationships and communicate with all departments, ensuring a continuous link between night and day.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a night auditor or in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and hotel management systems.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently during overnight hours.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard office software.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing issues.
