Job summary

The Queens Hotel in Leeds is seeking an Assistant Reception Manager (Nights) to lead the reception team and ensure seamless guest service during night hours.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will oversee shifts, promote service standards, handle guest requests with warmth, and contribute to ongoing training and improvement in a fast-paced environment. The role offers career growth within a growing hospitality group and a supportive team focused on outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience as a receptionist or reception supervisor is required.
• Outstanding customer service and guest experience focus.
• Strong leadership to motivate team and ensure standards.
• Excellent communication, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Guest-focused delivery of service during nights.
• Assist with rotas, appraisals and training of colleagues.
• Ensure smooth running of the Reception in line with procedures and standards.
• Maintain courteous, friendly attitude toward all guests and use guest names where possible.
• Record feedback and hand over the day’s business with proper cashiering and integrity.
