Job summary

Compass Group UK&I’s Kents Hill Park venue in Milton Keynes is seeking a Night Receptionist to provide warm, professional service through the night. You will ensure guest safety, manage overnight front desk operations and support a smooth handover to daytime teams.

Role involves night audit, incident response, and maintaining impeccable presentation of the Front Office. Competitive hourly pay (£13.58) and extensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience or guest-facing role.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to work independently at night.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm and professional during emergencies or high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee night-time front office operations and guest service.
• Manage night-time check-ins/check-outs and respond to guest queries.
• Complete the Night Audit and submit reports.
• Prepare and submit the Night Duty Manager report.
• Handle guest complaints with prompt, effective solutions.
• Conduct regular night-time fire walks for safety.
• Respond to evacuations and incidents per hotel procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of Front Office areas.
