Job summary

The Venues Collection at Kents Hill Park in Milton Keynes is seeking a friendly Night Receptionist to oversee the hotel overnight, ensuring guests are welcomed and the property is secure and well presented.

The role requires independence, calm under pressure and a proactive approach to guest queries, with responsibilities including night audits, reports, safety checks and supporting the Front Office team.

Experience in hospitality is preferred; Opera knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or guest-facing environments.
• Ability to work independently during night hours.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive, calm and professional handling of issues.
• Knowledge and experience of Opera is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, personalised service to guests during the night.
• Manage night check-ins/check-outs and respond to guest questions.
• Complete Night Audit and submit reports.
• Prepare and submit the Night Duty Manager report.
• Respond to incidents, evacuations and safety procedures.
• Maintain Front Office cleanliness and presentation.
