Job summary

Cubic Transportation Systems in the United Kingdom seeks a Field Services Technician for night shifts. You will maintain and repair Cubic equipment on TfL and National Rail infrastructure, ensuring high levels of reliability and customer service.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a technical service/maintenance environment.
• Engineering qualification.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• UK driving license.
• Desirable: HNC or equivalent in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with SLA-driven contracts.

Responsibilities

• Carry out corrective and preventative maintenance on Cubic equipment.
• Respond quickly to repair equipment and follow maintenance procedures.
• Embrace training and continuous improvement.
• Minimise downtime during fault callouts.
• Assist with equipment installations.
• Comply with Health and Safety and quality standards.
• Handle equipment module delivery and collections.
• Assist with Management lead project work.
• Deputise for the Field Service Team Leader when appropriate.
• Carry out vehicle stock checks.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Maintain assigned vehicle and FORs accreditation.
