Job summary

Cubic Transportation Systems in Greenford, UK is seeking a Field Services Technician 2 to perform first and second line maintenance on Cubic equipment and ensure high availability per SLA commitments. You will engage in training, drive improvements, and assist with installation or commissioning as needed.

The role demands hands-on maintenance experience, an engineering qualification, and strong customer service and communication skills to support transportation technology projects.

Qualifications

• Essential: hands-on experience in a high-tech service/maintenance environment.
• A recognised engineering qualification and service/maintenance exposure.
• Proven customer service skills and good communication.
• Desirable: HNC or equivalent in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Carry out first and second line maintenance on CTS equipment.
• Respond and repair Cubic devices promptly and follow procedures.
• Complete training and development programmes provided.
• Improve performance through training, experience and KPI feedback.
• Minimise downtime on fault call-outs and assist with installation or commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and ISO standards.
