Job summary

Headford Group Ltd. is seeking two experienced Time Critical / Express Operators for the night shift at Heathrow. You'll manage AOG and express consignments end to end from booking through customs to invoicing.

The role operates 4 on 4 off nights (19:00–07:00) with an average of 38.5 hours per week on a rotating schedule. Requirements include proven AOG/NFO/express operations experience, import and export customs handling, HMRC knowledge, and proficiency with Excel and freight systems.

Qualifications

Experience handling AOG and time-critical shipments end to end.
Ability to prepare and submit import/export customs entries.
Knowledge of HMRC customs procedures and compliance.
Proficiency with Excel and freight systems.
Strong communication skills under pressure.

Responsibilities

Coordinate multimodal express and time-critical shipments by air and road, both import and export.
Prepare and submit import and export customs entries, ensure accuracy and compliance.
Handle HMRC queries to closure, minimize duty and tax exposure.
Run the operational inbox, resolve customer issues and update clients overnight.
Do job costing and timely sales invoicing.
Collaborate with airlines, hauliers, co-loaders and day team for smooth handovers.
