Job summary

Gressingham Foods is seeking a Dispatch Operative for night shift at Redgrave, Diss. You will coordinate with management to ensure orders are picked and dispatched on time, monitor quality checks, and maintain correct dating and temperature control in a poultry processing setup.

Role requires forklift/pallet truck licensing (or willingness to train on site) and reliable transport. Full training provided, with a strong team-focused environment and safety-first policies.

Qualifications

• Valid Forklift and pallet truck license (or willingness to train onsite).
• Own transport essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with management to ensure orders are picked and dispatched accurately and on time.
• Monitor product quality checks: dates, temperatures, and cold-chain handling.
• Check products are correctly dated and at the correct temperature.
• Conduct daily inspections on Forklift, Pallet Truck & Pivot Steer Trucks.
• Comply with Health & Safety protocols and company policies.
• Other duties connected with poultry processing.
