Job summary

Holdsworth Foods is a major UK foodservice distributor seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our Despatch team in Chesterfield. You will ensure accurate picking and safe handling of goods, working in a coldstore environment and training to drive a forklift.

The role offers a weekly bonus and a benefits package including pension, healthcare cash plan, and staff discounts. Working hours are 5.30pm–1.30am, Sunday to Friday with one day off.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse environments is preferred.
• Willingness to train to drive a forklift.
• Ability to work in a coldstore environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders from picking sheets with attention to quantity and product.
• Familiar with products stocked and storage areas.
• Operate pallet trucks/forklift safely (certified).
• Load cages onto vehicle carefully to avoid damage.
• Keep the warehouse clean and tidy at all times.
