Job summary

Gressingham Foods in Redgrave, Diss is seeking a Dispatch Operative for night shifts to ensure accurate and timely order picking and dispatch. You will monitor quality, dates and temperatures, and maintain cold-chain integrity throughout the shift.

A forklift and pallet truck license is preferred or a willingness to train on site, with full training provided. The role operates on a 4 on/4 off rota from 17:00 to 05:45 and requires own transport to site.

Zero to minimal experience needed; full training provided.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with management to ensure orders are picked and dispatched accurately and on time.
Monitor and log product quality checks including dates, temperatures and cold-chain handling.
Check product dating and temperatures.
Inspect Forklift, Pallet Truck and Pivot Steer daily.
Comply with Health & Safety protocols and company policies.
Perform other duties related to poultry processing.

Dispatch Operative Night Shift at Redgrave, Diss

Hourly rate: £13.45 (probation) → £13.80 after probation

Shift rota: 4 on 4 off 17:00pm-05:45am

Peak role during Christmas production (six-day weeks)

Role Overview

Coordinate with the management team to ensure orders are picked and dispatched accurately and on time
Monitor and log product quality checks: dates, temperatures, correct cold-chain handling
Check products are correctly dated
Check products are at the correct temperature
Conduct inspections on Forklift, Pallet Truck & Pivot Steer Trucks daily
Comply with all Health & Safety protocols and company policies
Any other duties required connected with poultry processing

What You Bring
