Qualifications

Job description

The Chancery Rosewood – opening in Summer 2025, a Rosewood Hotel Group property – is housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. It will include 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, alongside a variety of dining and entertainment spaces: providing a stage for progressive ideas, voices, and expression.

We are looking for a Demi Chef de Partie – Night Shift to join our opening culinary team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in the kitchen who is ready to take the next step in a refined, high-standard environment. You'll be trusted to work independently overnight, supporting both in-room dining and early breakfast preparation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation, production and presentation of dishes during the night shift

  • Assist with mise en place for breakfast and day-part service

  • Maintain food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards throughout the shift

  • Monitor stock levels and communicate needs proactively

  • Work collaboratively with the night kitchen and In Room Dining teams to ensure smooth service

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a commis or demi chef role, ideally within luxury hospitality

  • Confidence in working independently with a high attention to detail

  • Solid understanding of food safety practices and allergen awareness

  • A proactive, reliable and flexible approach to night work

  • Passion for hospitality and personal growth within a high-performance kitchen
