Job summary

Maritime Transport Ltd. is seeking a Night Customer Service Administrator to be based at the Peterborough Depot. The role operates on a 4 on/4 off pattern, focusing on daily customer volumes and high service standards.

You will work with internal Maritime staff to resolve issues and maintain excellent customer relations, with preferred, but not essential, transport industry knowledge. Excellent IT and Excel skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and direct customer contact.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of IT systems and Microsoft Excel.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Managing our customers daily volumes.
• Dealing internally with Maritime staff to manage any issues or problems.
• Dealing externally with our customer, ensuring a high standard of customer service is maintained at all times.

Must be happy to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern

An understanding of the transport industry would be preferred but not essential. Working as part of a successful team, you will possess excellent communication skills and experience of dealing directly with customers. A working knowledge of IT systems and Microsoft Excel is essential for the role.
