Job summary

Accept Recruitment is sourcing an experienced Press Brake Setter for permanent night shift work in the East Midlands (Nottingham area). The role involves setting up CNC press brakes from scratch, selecting tooling and folding parts to tight tolerances with minimal supervision through the night.

You will read engineering drawings, verify tolerances, and perform first-off and in-process checks. The position offers a night shift premium, overtime, and site facilities including parking and PPE.

Qualifications

• Proven experience setting CNC press brakes, including tooling selection.
• Confident reading engineering drawings and working to tolerances.
• Experience folding a range of materials and thicknesses.
• A sharp eye for detail; reliability and self-motivation for night shift work.

Responsibilities

• Setting up CNC press brakes for each job, including tooling selection.
• Reading engineering drawings to fold parts and hold tolerances.
• Make adjustments and program changes to maintain tolerances.
• Perform first-off and in-process checks using verniers and angle gauges.
• Adhere to production plan and flag machine or quality issues.
• Support the wider fabrication team when needed.
• Follow site safety and quality procedures.
