Job summary

Frontline Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Setter to join the client’s nightshift fabrication team. You will confidently operate CNC press brakes, read engineering drawings and produce high‑quality folded components within tight tolerances.

Responsibilities include setting tooling, performing first‑off checks, and maintaining accuracy through measuring tools. Night shifts Sun–Thurs 22:00–06:00, with £14‑£16 per hour and a £21 nightshift allowance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Press Brake Setter/Operator.
• Confident setting and operating CNC press brakes.
• Ability to bend a range of materials and thicknesses.
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience selecting tooling and adjusting machine settings.
• Able to work accurately to tight tolerances.
• Good understanding of fabrication processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

CNC PRESS BRAKE SETTER

PERMANENT OPPORTUNITY

PAY: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour + £21 nightshift allowance

HOURS: Nights (Sun – Thurs 22:00 – 06:00)

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Previous experience as a Press Brake Setter/Operator
• Confident setting and operating CNC press brakes

• Able to work accurately to tight tolerances
• Good understanding of fabrication processes
• Excellent attention to detail
• Reliable, positive attitude, strong work ethic
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

• Experience with Amada, Bystronic, Trumpf or similar machinery
• Counterbalance forklift licence
• Crane/lifting equipment experience
• Fabrication or sheet metal background
