Engineering @ 365 Ltd is seeking a Press Brake Setter/Operator for night shifts in Leicester. The role involves setting and operating Amada press brake machinery to produce components from mild steel, reading engineering drawings and ensuring quality.

You will select tooling, adjust machine settings and perform first-off checks in a busy workshop environment. Key responsibilities include maintaining accuracy, meeting production deadlines, and working independently.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating press brake machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Ability to measure and inspect components.
• Attention to tolerances and quality requirements.
• Ability to work independently in a busy production environment.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate Amada press brake machines.
• Select and fit the correct tooling for each job.
• Edit and adjust tooling and machine settings as required.
• Set machine parameters to achieve correct bends and dimensions.
• Read and work from engineering drawings to manufacture components.
• Carry out first-off and in‑process quality checks.
• Measure completed components using appropriate measuring equipment.
• Identify and resolve basic issues with tooling, settings and components.
• Meet production deadlines in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized working area.
