Job summary

KineticPlc in Sheffield, England, is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Setter Operator to join our established engineering team. The role suits someone who can read engineering drawings, set up Bystronic press brakes, and produce high-quality components.

You will work with mornings/afternoons or nights on a rotating pattern, with pay rates up to £16.97 per hour. Apprentice-trained or time-served engineers are encouraged to apply; prior Bystronic experience is essential and health and safety

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained or time-served in engineering is acceptable.
• Previous press brake experience is required.
• Prior Bystronic CNC Press Brake experience is essential.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and health and safety is expected.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work is important.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Bystronic press brake machinery.
• Programme components accurately using engineering drawings.
• Read and interpret flat profile drawings and manufacturing information.
• Produce components to required tolerances and quality standards.
• Conduct complete dimensional inspections with measuring tools.
• Identify and resolve production issues with a focus on health and safety.
