Job summary

Frontline Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Setter to join the client’s nightshift fabrication team. You will confidently operate CNC press brakes, read engineering drawings and produce high‑quality folded components within tight tolerances.

Responsibilities include setting tooling, performing first‑off checks, and maintaining accuracy through measuring tools. Night shifts Sun–Thurs 22:00–06:00, with £14‑£16 per hour and a £21 nightshift allowance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Press Brake Setter/Operator.
• Confident setting and operating CNC press brakes.
• Ability to bend a range of materials and thicknesses.
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience selecting tooling and adjusting machine settings.
• Able to work accurately to tight tolerances.
• Good understanding of fabrication processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC press brakes.
• Read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Select correct tooling and machine settings.
• Produce accurate folded components to tight tolerances.
• Complete first‑off and in‑process quality checks.
• Use measuring equipment including verniers, rulers and angle gauges.
• Adjust machine settings to maintain accuracy.
• Work to production schedules and meet output targets.
