Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a Night Care Team Manager for Elm View Care Home in Bishop's Stortford. This full-time role (37 hours per week) covers night shifts from 9pm to 7:30am with an alternating weekend pattern, located at Newland Avenue, Bishop's Stortford, CM23 2UW.

You will lead with compassion, ensuring high standards of care and efficient operations while guiding a dedicated care team to deliver exceptional resident experiences.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care is required.
• Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care is desirable.
• Substantial experience of working with older people in a residential care setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Home and all services function in line with company policy and National Care Standards Commission requirements; manage the home during a shift.
• Promote dignity, privacy and independence of residents while undertaking care and housekeeping duties.
• Ensure domestic tasks meet health and safety standards.
• Comply with the company's Equal Opportunities policy.
• Lead the care team from the front.
• Maximise residents’ quality of life and maintain day-to-day home efficiency.

Contract: Full Time - Perm

Hour: 37 hours per week

Pay: £16.32 per hour weekdays & £17.32 per hour weekends

Shift Times: 9pm to 7.30am- Weekdays and alternative Weekends

We are seeking a Night Care Team Manager to join our Hotel Styled Boutique feel Care Home in Bishop's Stortford, a contemporary luxury 78-bed residential home. Elm View Care Home is positioned as a modern, purpose-built care home with a strong focus on high-end facilities, hotel-style living, and personalised care.

As a Night Care Team Manager, you will lead with compassion, inspire the team and make a real difference every day. Turn your passion for care into leadership and help create exceptional moments for residents every day.

What You'll Bring

• Essential to hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Desirable to hold a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care
• You must have substantial experience of working with older people in a residential care setting and a real passion for leading and delivering outstanding care to our residents.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• To ensure the Home and all its services function in accordance with company policy and the National Care Standards Commission requirements, including the responsibility of managing the home during a shift.
• To undertake a variety of care and housekeeping duties whilst promoting dignity, privacy and encouraging the independence of residents.
• To ensure that domestic tasks within the home are carried out to meet required health and safety standards.
• To comply with the company's Equal Opportunities policy and procedures, at all times.
• You will be leading a great care team from the front
• You will maximise the quality of life for all our residents and maintain the day-to-day efficiency of the home.
