Job description

The home has been carefully designed to offer comfortable accommodation, including single occupancy bedrooms with en-suite facilities, a lounge, dining room, and garden. Facilities are available for family or friends to stay overnight. Residents may personalise their rooms with small items of furniture and ornaments to promote familiarity.

Hours: 24 hours per week, including alternate weekend shifts.

The role:

Our Care Team Leaders are at the heart of what we do. As the recognised leader on a shift, you'll have overall responsibility for monitoring the health, care, and social needs of our residents, as well as preparing, implementing, and reviewing their personal care plans, including administering medication.

You will supervise, support, coach, and develop other team members, and liaise with those involved in residents' care, as well as with the residents themselves. Your role is to ensure residents' needs and wishes are central to the care we provide.

As the Care Team Leader on shift, you'll keep a cool head and take the lead in emergencies or when staff or residents need assistance.

At Lee House, we are committed to rewarding our staff. Our benefits include:

  • Competitive pay, benchmarked annually.
  • 31 days paid leave, including bank/public holidays (pro rata).
  • Free onsite parking.
  • Opportunities to earn £500 via our 'refer a friend' scheme.
  • Life Assurance.
  • Pay progression based on skills and contribution.
  • Learning and career development opportunities.
  • Company pension.
  • Discounted gym membership.
  • Employee assistance programme.
  • Shop and save vouchers.
  • Medical cashback scheme for expenses like dental and optical care.
  • Opportunity to apply for a 'Blue Light Card' for discounts in shops and restaurants.
About You:
  • Experienced Care Assistant, ideally with a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent, or committed to working towards it.
  • Strong organisational and staff management skills, with experience in writing and updating Care Plans.
  • Competent in medication administration.
  • Passionate and committed to providing exceptional care to residents, their families, and friends.
