Lee House is an attractive residential care home located in Wimbledon, offering care and support to residents over the age of 65. The home has been carefully designed to provide comfortable accommodation, including single occupancy bedrooms with en-suite facilities, a lounge, dining room, garden, and facilities for family or friends to stay overnight. Residents may personalize their rooms with small items of furniture and ornaments to promote familiarity.

About the Role:

This vacancy for the role of Care Team Leader is for bank hours per week, with shifts offered on an ad hoc basis. There will be at least 12 hours available per week, including alternate weekend shifts.

As a Care Team Leader, you will be at the heart of our care provision. You will have overall responsibility for monitoring the health, care, and social needs of residents, as well as preparing, implementing, and reviewing their personal care plans, including administering medication. You will supervise, support, coach, and develop team members, liaise with other care professionals and residents, ensuring their needs and wishes are central to the care provided. You will also take the lead during emergencies, maintaining a calm and effective response.

About You:

  • Experience as a Care Assistant, ideally with a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent, or commitment to working towards this
  • Good organization and staff management skills, with experience in writing and updating Care Plans
  • Competence in medication administration
  • Passionate and committed to providing exceptional care to residents and their families
