Job summary

Avalon Park Care Home in Oldham is seeking a Night Senior Care Assistant to lead and support a dedicated team in delivering safe, person-centred care to our residents during the night shift.

You will oversee medication administration, maintain accurate care records, and coordinate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of high-quality care. The role offers a supportive environment with development opportunities and a focus on resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum), with Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards
• Medication administration training with competency is essential
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• A caring, compassionate and professional approach

Responsibilities

• Guide and support your team in delivering safe, high‑quality, person‑centred care
