Job summary

Career Makers is recruiting a Senior Support Worker for night shifts in a Nursing Home in Halesowen. You will lead the night team, deliver high-quality resident care, and guide staff to follow care plans with dignity and respect.

You should have experience as a Senior Support Worker or similar, strong leadership, and an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it). The role includes induction, ongoing training, and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Senior Support Worker or equivalent care role.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality personal care and support to residents
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing
• Support the development and supervision of care staff
• Assist with care planning and reviews
• Conduct staff supervisions and contribute to appraisals
• Mentor and coach Support Workers
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with care standards
• Work closely with management and wider healthcare teams
