Job summary

Ash Tree House Care Home, Hindley, Wigan, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead a shift and deliver high-quality, person-centred care for residents. You will support the team, oversee medication and maintain care records.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is the minimum requirement.
• Medication administration training with competency is essential.
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person-centred care.
• Take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift and ensure care is well organised and high standard.
• Oversee medication administration, monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond to changes.
• Maintain accurate care records and communicate with families and healthcare professionals.
