Job summary

Pilgrims' Friend Society seeks a compassionate Senior Care Assistant for night shifts at Bethany House, near Preston. You will support older residents with dignity, supervise staff, and help maintain care plans.

Role requires 2+ years in residential care and an RQF Health & Social Care Level 2 or higher. Part-time nights, competitive benefits, and a supportive Christian work environment are offered.

Qualifications

• You must have an RQF accreditation in Health & Social care at level 2 or above.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Senior Care Assistant in residential care.
• Willing to lead shifts and take a hands-on role as required; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, professional care to residents.
• Supervise Care Team during duty and manage health, safety and security.
• Assist residents with personal care and daily activities.
• Support residents to maintain independence and participate in community life.
• Ensure care plans are up-to-date and accurate.
