Job summary

South Coast Nursing Homes is seeking a Care Assistant for Night shifts at White Lodge Residential Home in East Preston. The role is 36 hours per week, alternating weekly between Week 1 and Week 2, with nights from 8pm to 8am. Sponsorship at Tier 2 is not available at this time.

Key duties include providing high quality personal care, promoting independence, inputting residents’ information, serving meals, and building relationships with residents and their relatives.

• Experience in Healthcare preferred but full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents.
• Promote independence and enablement; support residents as needed.
• Ensure electronic residents’ personalised interactions are inputted on the system.
• Serve meals and promote social dining experiences; build relationships with relatives.
