Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a Night Care Assistant for The Mead Care Home in Borehamwood. The role involves overnight personal care, support with meals and daily activities, and ensuring residents are safe during the night. Training is provided and the role supports residents with dignity and comfort.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and patient disposition; strong communication is essential.
• Willingness to undertake all aspects of care and to follow personalised care plans.
• Training will be provided and Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support, including washing, dressing, grooming and toileting, plus meals and hydration.
• Assist residents with daily activities to promote independence.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Follow individual care plans and work as part of a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
• Ensure residents are safe and comfortable through the night.
