Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a Care Assistant to join Willow Court in Harpenden. This full/part-time role offers 20–35 hours per week in a welcoming 81-bed home with landscaped gardens and on-site facilities.

You will provide compassionate personal care, support residents to maintain independence, and work within a dedicated team. Training starts on day one, and shifts include weekends and Bank Holidays; 18+ required.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; full training provided.
• Ability to care for older residents with compassion and respect.
• Willingness to work shifts including weekends and bank holidays.
• Aged 18 years or over to apply.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and support, including washing, dressing and grooming, plus meals and hydration.
• Assisting residents with daily activities to promote independence.
• Building positive, professional relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Follow individual personalised care plans for each resident.
• Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
