Quantum Care is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join Furzewood Lodge, a new 75-bed care home in South Oxhey, Watford. You’ll provide compassionate, person-centred care across shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, with full induction training and ongoing development opportunities.

The role supports older residents, helping with daily activities while maintaining dignity and independence, in a welcoming, well‑connected community setting.

Qualifications

• No previous care experience required; empathetic and positive attitude welcomed.
• Ability to meet physical and emotional needs of residents with kindness.
• Induction training and ongoing development provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: washing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Assist with meals, hydration and nutritional care.
• Support independence and activities of daily living.
• Follow personalised care plans and work in a team.
