Job summary

Prime Life is recruiting a Night Care Assistant to join our friendly team at Hawkhurst Residential Home, Blackburn. This role is available on a full or part‑time basis and offers funded DBS, holiday pay, and a Refer a Friend bonus.

You will support residents with personal care, wellbeing checks at night, nutrition, mobility, and companionship, working with a multi-disciplinary team to provide dignified care. Training is provided; prior care experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference for residents.
• Full training provided; prior experience in care welcome but not essential.
• Applicants with care or support worker backgrounds encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and bedtime routines.
• Perform routine welfare checks during the night.
• Support residents to dine and stay hydrated and nourished.
• Encourage safe mobility with aids and equipment.
• Provide friendship and companionship to residents.
• Maintain accurate records and complete documentation.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to promote health and well-being.
• Assist family members with enquiries.
