Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Respectful towards residents and others in the home.
• Efficient worker able to follow instructions.
• Adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents in personal hygiene care to maintain independence, dignity and respect.
• Recognise and report clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls, infections.
• Be courteous towards residents and visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
• Practice safe systems of work across all tasks.
