Job summary

Belong Newcastle-Under-Lyme is recruiting a Night Care Assistant to join our village-style home. You will work with the care team to provide personal and practical support to residents, ensuring dignity and comfort during night shifts from 10pm to 8am.

You should have good communication, experience in elderly care, and an NVQ2 or Care Certificate. We offer a comprehensive induction, DBS cost covered, progression opportunities, pension, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Committed to providing a high standard of care, promoting dignity and respect.
• Previous experience working within an elderly care setting.
• Team player but able to work on your own initiative.
• Dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the Home.
• A minimum of a NVQ level 2 in health & social care or the Care Certificate along with a dedicated passion for providing exceptional care for our night team roles.

10pm – 8am Nights

We have an exciting opportunity for a Care Assistant to join our team in Belong Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

About the Role:

As a care assistant, you will work together with other staff in the running of the household. You will aim to maintain high standards of care and service towards customers, relatives, visitors and other members of staff. You will be providing a range of personal and practical care to our residents.
