Belong Birkdale Night Care Assistants are sought to join a compassionate team, delivering high-quality personal care and emotional support during night hours, promoting safety and comfort for older residents.

You will work in a supportive household, adhere to care plans, and document care activities. NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care and Care Certificate are required, with opportunities for ongoing training and career progression.

Qualifications

• Essential NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, Care Certificate and above
• Previous experience working in a care environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A compassionate and person-centred approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable, professional and flexible in your approach to work
• Desirable Experience supporting older people
• Experience working with people living with dementia
• Knowledge of person-centred care practices

• Providing person-centred care and support to older people.
• Assisting with personal care and night-time routines.
• Supporting residents with mobility and safe moving practices.
• Responding to residents’ needs throughout the night.

Night Care Assistant Pay: £13.45 per hour Shift Pattern: 10pm to 8am Nights Hours: Full and part time hours Contract: Permanent

About the Role

As a Night Care Assistant, you’ll work as part of a supportive household team, helping our customers feel safe, comfortable and cared for throughout the night. You’ll provide high-quality personal care and emotional support while promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing. You’ll build meaningful relationships with customers and help create a calm and welcoming environment where people feel valued and respected.
