Job summary

Roseberry Care Centres in Grimsby is seeking a Night Care Assistant at Ashlea Court to support residents with personal care, meals and activities, promoting independence and wellbeing through the night. You will work 33–44 hours per week, including nights and alternate weekends.

A minimum of 1 year in care, and an NVQ2 in Health and Social Care are preferred, with excellent communication and empathy essential.

• NVQ2 in Adult Health and Social Care.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in care.
• Excellent communication, listening and empathy skills.
• Genuine passion for elderly care and team development.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Location: Ashlea Court, Church Lane, Waltham, Grimsby, DN37 0ES Salary: £12.76 Per Hour Hours: 33 – 44 Hours/Week – Nights and Alternate weekends Note that Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role.

Your Role

As a Care Assistant you will support our residents in their day to day lives including providing personal care, social activities, and meals times to promote independence and maximise their quality of life.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Assist with washing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and continence care
• Help with mobility and transfers
• Offer companionship and a friendly presence
• Support mental and emotional well-being
• Observe and report changes in a client’s physical or emotional condition

What We’re Looking For

• Ideally have an NVQ2 in Adult Health and Social Care
• A minimum of 1 years’ experience in Care although this is not essential
• Excellent communication, listening and empathy skills
• A genuine passion for elderly care and team development
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
