Job summary

Quantum Care’s Riverside Lodge in Rickmansworth is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our welcoming team. You will lead a designated unit, support residents with dignity and deliver compassionate care across residential, dementia and respite services in a luxury setting.

You’ll work 30–37 hours weekly with weekday and weekend shifts, and you’ll play a key part in updating care plans, coordinating activities and mentoring junior staff to ensure outstanding resident experiences every day.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care desirable or willingness to work towards.
• Substantial experience with older people in a residential care setting and passion for leading care.

Responsibilities

• Taking a leadership role on a designated unit.
• Reviewing and updating care plans.
• Gving personal care to residents.
• Administering medication and ensuring social activities are provided during each shift

What You’ll Bring

• Essential to hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Desirable to hold a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Or willingness to work towards).
• You must have substantial experience of working with older people in a residential care setting and a real passion for leading and delivering outstanding care to our residents.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Taking a leadership role on a designated unit.
