Job summary

Deeside Care Home, a 68-bedded care facility, provides Nursing, Residential, Dementia and Respite care in a luxury setting. As a Care Assistant, you will support residents with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, following care plans to deliver safe, responsive care.

Training and ongoing development are provided to support your journey. You will thrive in a warm, team-based environment where dignity and respect are core values, helping residents

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and monitor changes in condition to ensure safe, consistent care.
• Work with a supportive team to create a warm, respectful environment.
• Deliver high quality, person-centred care and uphold residents' dignity.
• Provide training and development support to new carers.

Job description

Our impressive 68-bedded care facility provides residents with exceptional standards of Nursing, Residential, Dementia and Respite care, in a luxury setting.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to 44 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview
As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
