Job summary

Wessex Procurement Limited (WPL) is offering a permanent Stock Management Officer role based in Basingstoke with possible duties in Winchester. You will work within the NHS procurement and supply chain team, setting up stock profiles, managing high value non-stock items, and producing reports to support standardisation.

Essential criteria include NVQ3/CIPS foundation experience, basic Word/Excel, and strong maths and English skills. A valuable opportunity within the NHS procurement network.

Qualifications

• Understanding Materials Management principles including stock control, ordering, invoicing and customer care skills, via NVQ3 or CIPS foundation.
• Basic level experience of Windows applications Word and Excel.
• Good standard of Education including Mathematics and English.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain stock profiles, including high value non-stock items from suppliers.
• Produce and analyse reports to support standardisation and rationalisation initiatives.
• Act as an ambassador to the department to promote supply chain solutions.
• Work as part of a team to provide efficient materials management across sites.
