Job summary

Wessex Procurement Limited (WPL) invites applications for a Stock Management Officer based at Basingstoke (with possible duties at Winchester). You will join a dynamic team delivering Materials Management across the NHS Trusts, ensuring stock profiles are set up and maintained to meet clinical needs.

You will produce and analyse reports to support Standardisation and Rationalisation programs and act as an ambassador for supply chain solutions within the Trust.

Job Title: Stock Management Officer

Contract: Permanent

Under current Home Office rules, this role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.

Please note this role is based at Basingstoke but could also require you to work from Winchester.

As a Stock Management Officer, you will work as part of a team to provide an efficient and reliable Materials Management Service throughout the Trust by setting up and maintaining stock profiles (including high value “non-stock” items procured directly from Suppliers), to meet clinical requirements. You will produce and analyse reports in order to recommend and persuade user departments to follow Trust initiatives such as Standardisation and Rationalisation programs. You will also act as an ambassador to the department in encouraging the development of supply chain solutions.
