Wessex Procurement Limited (WPL) is offering a Senior Buyer role based at Royal South Hants Hospital, with potential work from Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital. You will manage a team of Buyers across UHS & HHFT to maximise cost improvement programme benefits.

The role requires strong IT and communication skills, a proactive approach, and collaboration with Procurement Managers and Strategic Procurement to deliver efficient purchasing and value.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in procurement and catalogue management.
• Track record of achieving cost reductions.
• Experience supervising or line managing staff.

Aufgaben

• Lead the Operations team to deliver a customer-focused and efficient purchasing service.
• Manage a team with HR procedures including attendance, performance and appraisals.
• Plan workload for the team to ensure timely processing of orders and reviews of catalogues.
• Monitor supplier performance against contracts and KPIs, and support policy development.
• Enter data onto purchase ordering systems and generate pricing reports for customers.
