Job summary

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive Security Team member to help ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at Basildon. The role involves responding to incidents, patrolling the site, and assisting staff and visitors with a professional, calm approach.

Qualifications

• GCSE or Equivalent
• A level
• Working Knowledge of CCTV and Access Control Systems
• Experience with other systems, i.e panic alarms
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Dealing with members of the public
• Experience with physical restraint
• PMVA level 2 training
• Knowledge of DOLS and MCA framework
• Working for the NHS

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and security alerts
• Carry out general security duties across the site
• Provide friendly and professional assistance to staff and visitors
• Responding to security incidents
• Monitoring of CCTV
