Job summary

Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Healthcare Security Officer to support the Trust Security Management Team in delivering security services. You will patrol both inside and outside the Trust, observing for suspicious activity and performing dynamic risk assessments in a healthcare setting.

You will handle high level and intense situations with conflict management and physical intervention as needed, maintaining a professional approach and rapid response to incidents.

Qualifications

• Security qualifications and driving licence required.
• Experience in healthcare security and customer service preferable.
• Proficient with standard PC software and security systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct immediate response to Trust security incidents as first responder.
• Carry out regular patrols internally and externally around the Trust.
• Manage physical intervention and conflict situations professionally.
• Observe for suspicious activity and conduct dynamic risk assessments.
• Collaborate with the Security Management Team to maintain 24/7 service.
