Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Patient Pathway Co-ordinator for the Urology team. The role involves scheduling clinic appointments, arranging operating theatre lists, and ensuring timely routing of letters to patients and referrers.

Training will be provided for those new to the NHS. The post is based at Churchill Hospital or Horton Hospital with a 18 weeks RTT framework and a strong emphasis on data quality, confidentiality and patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths (A-C).
• Understanding of patient pathways and performance targets.
• NVQ4 qualification.
• IT qualifications such as ECDL or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary administrative support to consultants, clinical staff and patients.
• Produce clinical correspondence and letters to inform referrers, patients and others.
• Monitor patient pathways and escalate concerns to management.
• Coordinate elective access procedures and maintain accurate patient details.
• Maintain confidentiality and deliver high-quality administrative service.
