Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 4 Patient Pathway Administrator for the Urology service. Based at Churchill Hospital or Horton Hospital, you will support clinicians by booking clinics, scheduling operating theatre lists, and issuing letters to patients and referrers.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths, grades A-C.
• Good knowledge of patient pathways.
• Understanding of performance targets.
• NVQ4.
• IT qualifications e.g., ECDL.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary administrative support to consultants, clinical staff, and all patients under their care.
• Type or use Trust digital transcription systems to produce clinical correspondence to inform referrers, patients, and others.
• Monitor patient pathways and escalate concerns to Management.
• Monitor urgent investigation requests to ensure appropriate processing.
• Assist management to arrange patients for elective access procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient details using Trust systems.
