Job summary

The Patient Pathway Supervisor role at BHRUT is an exciting opportunity to lead the admin team and support the development and implementation of new processes within the service. You will help maintain efficient clinics and ensure high standards of patient care.

Working closely with the Patient Pathway Manager and Service Manager, you will oversee day‑to‑day operations, supervise the Coordinator and Administrator staff, and monitor performance to deliver timely access and good patient experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent.
• NVQ level 3 in Business Administration or Customer Care equivalent.
• Proven NHS experience.
• Setting up and maintaining administrative systems.
• Knowledge of patient referral to treatment times; experience of monitoring patient pathways.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the Patient Pathway Co-ordinators (PPCs) and Patient Pathway Administrators (PPAs) within the team to ensure high-quality patient experience.
• Maintain comprehensive and efficient Patient Pathway Coordinator and Administrator service to the clinical team.
• Provide a contact point for administrative staff and resolve problems; escalate major issues to the Patient Pathway Manager.
