Job summary

Chesterfield Royal NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Estates Operations Officer (Mechanical) to manage key mechanical disciplines for the operational estates service. You will work within a mechanical team and interact with the Estates Operations Manager (Mechanical) to deliver reliable heating, ventilation and plumbing systems.

Experience in an Estates/FM environment, ideally in the public sector, and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Building services engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• IOSH and/or NEBOSH qualifications preferred for safety.
• Healthcare AP training or appointment experience desirable.
• Experience in NHS estates mechanical engineering functions.
• Authorised Person role in mechanical areas advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Main duties aligned with mechanical estates engineering management.
• Oversee maintenance and install of heating, ventilation and plumbing systems.
• Lead a mechanical team and coordinate with Estates Manager (Mechanical).
• Support on-call rota and related additional payments.

BEng/BSc (Hons) Building Services Engineering

Masters level qualification

IOSH

NEBOSH

AP appointment/training in healthcare
