Job summary

Ramsay Health Care UK is seeking an NHS Coordinator for Euxton Hall Hospital in Chorley. The role focuses on data quality in RTT patient pathways and delivering excellent customer service within a team-based environment.

You will need substantial experience managing patient treatment pathways, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate across hospital teams to ensure accurate waiting list data and smooth pathway progression.

NHS Coordinator

Euxton Hall Hospital - Chorley


Hours: 37.5 hours per week


Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits


Euxton Hall Hospital opened in 1983 and is one of Lancashire's leading private hospitals with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare for patients with health insurance, patients who are self-funding treatment or NHS patients exercising choice through the e-referral system.


The role

We currently have a great opportunity for a NHS coordinator to join our team at Euxton Hall Hospital in Chorley.


The main objective of the role is data quality in RTT (Referral to Treatment) Patient Pathways and commitment to excellent Customer Service whilst ensuring close working relationships with teams across the hospital.


You will have great communication and interpersonal skills. To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate you have significant experience in managing patient treatment pathways. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to negotiate and liaise effectively within a team-based environment to ensure the data for patients on the waiting lists is accurate and appropriately reflects the patient's current position on the pathway for the provision of a systematic, efficient and confident service.


This is a busy and demanding role so candidates will need to be enthusiastic, highly motivated and have a flexible approach to their role to ensure the needs of the service are met.


This role will report directly to the Head of Administration.


Key Duties


  • Ensure complex patient pathways from multiple specialties, in line with the agreed Hospital Access Policy

  • Provide advice to Consultants and Administration teams where there is a lack of awareness or following of the policy. Be sufficiently skilled to impart knowledge and skills effectively to others across a variety of staff levels and disciplines

  • To liaise with Administrative, Operational and Clinical Teams to ensure that elective access standards are being actively monitored and managed and that elective access pathways run as smoothly as possible.

  • Ensure all records and reports are maintained and kept up to date

  • Building of Outpatient clinics for NHS pathways
