Job summary

Ramsay Health Care UK is seeking an MRI/CT Radiographer at Buckshaw Hospital, Chorley. Join a close-knit MRI team delivering diagnostic imaging excellence, using state-of-the-art equipment and the Ramsay Academy to develop your skills.

You will help manage images in RIS/PACS and support patient care across departments. The role requires HCPC registration, a radiography degree, and a patient-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in diagnostic Radiography (required)
• HCPC registration with evidence of ongoing development
• SO R IV cannulation certificate desirable
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Commitment to delivering high-quality diagnostic services
• Willingness to participate in on-call rota and after-hours shifts

The role

You will be part of a close-knit, innovative MRI team delivering an exceptional diagnostic imaging service. At the heart of patient care, you'll build relationships with all the hospital's key departments, and our consultants across many specialisms. Whilst providing exceptional clinical care, you'll also track, process and manage images in RIS and PACS, perform audits and assist in booking in patients. But at its heart, this role is about playing a key role in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of your patients.

Where you'll be based

Buckshaw Hospital is the third day case hospital to have been built and opened by Ramsay in the last two years. The new development is located at Matrix Park, Buckshaw Village, Chorley. It is an extension of services offered by Euxton and Fulwood Hall Hospitals. The Ramsay Team at Euxton and Fulwood are incredibly excited about the new hospital, not only does it provide further capacity to treat patients in and around the local area, but it develops the service model we already offer in the North West, delivering the best care and patient experience.

What you'll bring with you

• Diploma or degree in diagnostic Radiography


• HCPC registration and evidence of post registration development


• SOR IV cannulation certificate desirable
