Job summary

Churchill Group is recruiting for an NHS Ambulance Make Ready Operative based in Ottershaw, Surrey. The role requires a C1 Licence and involves preparing ambulances and patient transport vehicles to an approved standard, including deep cleaning to infection control standards.

You will test equipment on Trust vehicles, replace Make Ready packs, and ensure crews receive sealed, repacked bags for rapid deployment.

Responsibilities

• Deep clean to infection control standards as part of daily duties.

Cleaning is Churchill’s largest long-established business area and as an Ambulance Cleaner & Stock Co-ordinator you will have the all-important duty of preparing ambulances, rapid response cars and patient transport vehicles to an approved standard, which includes deep cleaning to an infection control standard. You’ll be part of a friendly team, all working together to create outstandingly clean and safe environments that make our clients happy.

As an NHS Ambulance Make Ready Operative- C1 Required, you will be looking after SECAMB – Ambulances and will test all medical equipment deployed on the Trust’s vehicles to ensure equipment is fit for purpose and in working order, replacing all used or broken Make Ready packs and replacing the response bags with repacked and ready-to-use sealed bags.
