Job summary

Churchill Group is hiring an Ambulance Make Ready Operative in Ottershaw. The role involves cleaning and preparing ambulances and related vehicles to infection control standards, ensuring equipment is fit for purpose and ready for use.

You will work with a team to maintain high cleanliness levels, handle Make Ready packs, and support rapid response vehicles under NHS SECAMB supervision. DBS clearance and a C1 Licence are required.

Cleaning is Churchill’s largest long-established business area and as an Ambulance Cleaner & Stock Co-ordinator you will have the all-important duty of preparing ambulances, rapid response cars and patient transport vehicles to an approved standard, which includes deep cleaning to an infection control standard. You’ll be part of a friendly team, all working together to create outstandingly clean and safe environments that make our clients happy.

As an NHS Ambulance Make Ready Operative- C1 Required

you will be looking after SECAMB – Ambulances and will test all medical equipment deployed on the Trust’s vehicles to ensure equipment is fit for purpose and in working order, replacing all used or broken Make Ready packs and replacing the response bags with repacked and ready-to-use sealed bags.
