Leeds City Council is seeking a Newly Qualified Social Worker to join a restorative, family‑focused team in Leeds. You will work under ASYE with protected caseloads and mentoring from a senior social worker, progressing to a full Social Worker role on vacancy.)

You will support assessments, safeguarding, and planning for children in need, in collaboration with children, families and multi‑agency partners.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
• Experience in statutory children’s social work, including child protection and looked-after children.
• Ability to work restoratively with children and families.
• Flexible/hybrid working and ASYE support.

• Provide a high quality social work service with mentoring from a senior colleague.
• Co-work on challenging cases with experienced colleagues as needed.
• Engage in supervision and appraisal for professional development.
• Work within a restorative practice framework and family decision making.
• Build effective relationships with children, families and partner agencies.
