Job summary

Leeds City Council is seeking a Social Worker to join our children’s services. The role is permanent with various hours and a pro-rata salary of £38,220 to £40,777 for the right candidate. You will work in a statutory setting with children and families, focusing on safeguarding and restoration.

You will need a relevant social work qualification and registration with Social Work England, with opportunities for ASYE and Practice Educator Level 1 progression. Flexible/hybrid working is supported.

Qualifications

• Must hold a relevant social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England.
• ASYE and Practice Educator Level 1 qualification/completion encouraged.
• Experience in a statutory setting within children’s social work, including child protection or looked after children.
